Dog License Purchasing Options

There are currently four methods to renew/purchase your 2025 Muskingum County Dog License:

  1. Purchase your 2025 Dog License online at https://www.doglicenses.us/OH/Muskingum/. Online purchases include a processing fee and a shipping and handling fee.
  2. Purchase your 2025 Dog License by completing a blank application. Return it with check or money order AND a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office located at 401 Main Street, Zanesville, OH 43701. Your 2025 tags and receipt will be mailed to you.
  3. Purchase your 2025 Dog License in person at the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office located at 401 Main St. (CASH OR CHECK ONLY)
  4. Purchase your 2025 Dog License from one of our satellite vendors with an additional charge of $0.75 per tag.

Courthouse Elevator Replacement

The Muskingum County Courthouse elevator will be replaced in the near future and will be out of service for 8-12 weeks. For your convenience, please consider purchasing your dog license by mail, online, or at one of our satellite locations.
